Stanley Mayes views the practice of law as his calling and appreciates the opportunity to serve his clients through both joyous times – like the purchase of a new home – and stressful times, like the death of a family member. He is a strong advocate and has represented clients in many high profile cases. He attended law school at the University of Western Ontario and was called to the Bar in 1980. He is a member of the The Law Society of Upper Canada, is President of the Kent Law Association and is a founding member of Christian Legal Fellowship. He constantly updates his credentials through numerous continuing education programs. Stan has served several charitable organizations in leadership positions at the local and provincial levels and is an active member of the community and of his local church. He is an avid reader and studies a broad array of subjects and, inexplicably, remains a stalwart Maple Leafs fan. Stan has been married to his wife, Ann, for more than 30 years and they are the parents of two successful young adults. He places a high priority on family and is also grateful to work with the talented and skillful members of his staff.
